1. Privacy policy (GDPR)

We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the laws of the Czech Republic.

What data we collect

Email — if you leave it in a pre-registration, interest or feedback form.
Learning data — your progress, chosen settings and achievements. They are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us.
Technical data — anonymised visit statistics (if private analytics is connected).

We do not store bank card data: payment is handled on the payment provider's side (see "Payment" in the Terms).

Why we use it

to give you access to the course and keep your progress;
to respond to your enquiry;
to send project news with your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We may use processors (hosting, payment provider, email service) that process data on our behalf and within GDPR: Netlify or another host, a payment provider once payments are connected, and an email service if you give separate consent.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, to restrict processing and to withdraw consent. To do so, write to etd.atlas@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).

Cookies

The site uses technically necessary browser features (localStorage) to make the course work smoothly. Your browser may store locally: lesson progress, your chosen learning track, theme, sound settings, recent lessons, vocabulary, reviews, checklists and Exam Trainer results.

We do not store in localStorage any bank cards, passport data, official documents, medical information or personal data needed for the exam/permanent residence. If you clear your browser data, local progress may reset. Analytics or marketing cookies are used only with your consent, if such services are connected.

2. Terms of use (public offer)

By using the site and purchasing paid access, you agree to these terms.

What you get

Free (€0): the whole alphabet and pronunciation, the first 5 A1 lessons, the phrasebook for 3 cities, and the "useful for life in Czechia" section.
Premium (€8/mo): all A1–A2 lessons, all 6 learning methods, studio audio, course vocabulary, the extended Soupis A1–A2, guides, checklists and reviews.
Exam Trainer A2 (€39): 12 exam practice sessions, reading, listening, writing, speaking, a model test, a weak-spots map, a timer, a final score report and 1 year of access.

Payment

Payment is processed through a secure payment provider shown on the checkout page before payment. Access is opened after payment is confirmed. Until the checkout page is connected, the buy buttons may lead to a pre-registration form.

Nature of the service

This is an educational product. We help you prepare for a language exam, but we do not guarantee a pass and we are not an official examination centre. The exam itself is taken separately at an accredited centre; current rules are on cestina-pro-cizince.cz.

Intellectual property

All course materials (texts, audio, illustrations, the character Liska) belong to the seller. They may not be resold or distributed without written permission.

3. Refunds and access

The product is digital content to which access is granted immediately.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under EU law, a consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content this right ends once access has been granted with your explicit consent and confirmation that you lose the right of withdrawal. By making the purchase, you give that consent.

When a refund is possible

access was technically not granted and the problem could not be resolved;
a double payment or a technical charging error.

Send a refund request to etd.atlas@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase, stating the payment email. A refund, if approved, is made by the same payment method within 14 days.

Premium subscription

You can cancel the subscription at any time; access remains until the end of the paid period. After cancellation, you are not charged for the next period.
