For a tourist or beginner, transport is often scarier than a café: lots of signs, machines, platforms and transfers. These phrases cover the most common situations.

Ticket

Buy a ticket, ask the price, how long it's valid and whether you can pay by card.

On transport people mostly use jízdenka or lístek. Both are useful for a tourist.

Say: Kde mám vystoupit? If you need to change: Kde mám přestoupit?

What do I say at a ticket check?

Short and calm: Tady je moje jízdenka. If your ticket is in an app, just show the screen.
